Technicians

In the Colonial Military, Technicians are not combat specialists. (Though in the Fleet’s current situation, EVERYBODY is a combat specialist!) The role of Technicians, though they may work along side combat personnel, is to maintain the ship and the support systems.
They are part of the chain of command, do have uniforms, (different from Warriors) and do come in Harm’s Way. They do not carry sidearms, unless special circumstances warrant it, and may not have command roles on the Bridge.
